We discover the world through our senses.
The way a space looks is obviously important, but people's experience of architecture is intrinsically multisensory in nature. It is said that we spend over 80% of our lives in buildings, so we put the human experience at the beginning of the process.
A 'space' is a place for many senses: sight, sound, touch, and the unaccountable things that happen in between.
